Honda trademarks CB350 Brigade name

There’s a possibility that this motorcycle might be Honda’s iteration to take on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Signals.

Honda has been busy developing and expanding its BigWing network and product portfolio in recent times and there are quite a few launches in the pipeline. The company recently trademarked the name CB350 Brigade in India. Though it’s too early to say what it might mean, another variant of the H’Ness CB350 may be in the works.

There could also be a chance that the CB350 Brigade is a special edition motorcycle that will take on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Signals. To reiterate, the Signals is Royal Enfield’s ode to the bikes used by the British armed forces during wartime.

Expect cosmetic changes on the CB350 Brigade, including exclusive paintwork, as compared to the H’ness CB350 and the CB350RS. Mechanically, however, it should have the same chassis, brakes, suspension and 348.36cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 30Nm at 3,000rpm.

Also, given that the CB350 Brigade was trademarked on June 2, the launch of the motorcycle is still some time away.
