Honda patents 160cc scooter in India

Honda is known for its scooters in India. Infact, the Activa name is synonymous with scooters. It was about time Honda began selling higher-capacity premium scooters, and the Stylo 160 could be its first instalment in that segment. The Stylo 160 is a premium stylish scooter on sale in Indonesia and is available in six colours. It gets full LED lighting and is equipped with a digital instrument cluster. It also has a keyless system and a USB charging port inside the centre cubby space.

The Honda Stylo 160 is powered by a 156.9cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 15.4hp at 8500rpm and 13.8Nm at 7000rpm. It also rides on a set of 12-inch wheels and features dual-channel ABS. In terms of dimensions, it is slightly longer and wider and even features a slightly longer wheelbase than the Activa. Once on sale, it will compete against the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero’s upcoming Xoom 160.
