Himalayan price, new 450cc model, India launch details

The Himalayan 450 will be the first liquid-cooled, modern-day Royal Enfield.

We have received a block-your-date invite for the hotly-anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 from October 30 to November 1. This is when we’ll be riding the first liquid-cooled engine-powered Royal Enfield model and an official launch should follow soon after, if not during that timeframe.

The Himalayan 450 has been spotted testing numerous times before both on our shores as well as overseas and we know a fair bit about the motorcycle already. To start with, the design remains quite true to the current Himalayan with function prioritized over form. However, this is not a no-frills machine like the current model and we already know that it will get, a USD fork, all-LED lighting and a brand-new single-pod instrument cluster

The engine is probably be the biggest talking point here and we have even heard how it sounds. To read more about that, tap here

Ofcourse, this is not the only bike that will be powered by this brand-new motor and there are a slew of new models in the pipeline that will be sporting it down the line. Tap here to read more about that.

A while back, RE even let Dakar Rally finisher, CS Santosh was given an opportunity to let loose on the new Himalayan 450, and to read more about that, tap here.
