The four unique machines are built by some of the best custom builders in India and were displayed in four different cities at the same time.
Royal Enfield has showcased four unique Classic 350s custom built by some of the best custom bike builders in the country. And no, before you ask, these bikes are not for sale and they are not road-legal either.
The brand revealed these custom-built Classic 350s in four cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru – simultaneously.
Under its Custom World intiative, Royal Enfield gave a Classic 350 to each of the custom builders to build a bike that best showcases and enhances the Classic 350’s design.
Now, let’s take a closer look at these bespoke machines.
1. ‘Gaur’ by Rajputana Custom Motorcycles
One of the most famous builders in the country, Rajputana Custom Motorcycles showcased its interpretation of the Classic 350, dubbed ‘Gaur’, in Mumbai. The Gaur is said to take inspiration from the Royal Enfields of different eras.
Nods to the Enfields of yesteryears include the girder-style front suspension, drum brakes at the front and back, single leather seat and old-school footrests. The Gaur also features huge 5-inch by 16-inch tyres, a small round headlight and hand built panels on the tank and toolbox cover.
2. ‘Divine’ by Neev Motorcycles
Delhi-based Neev Motorcycles’ custom-built Classic 350, called ‘Divine’, was showcased in Pune. Taking the shape of a bobber motorcycle, the Divine sports a black and gold theme with several special touches.
It features gold pin stripes and gold leaf work on the custom tank, a hand-stitched leather seat and machined and engraved brass embellishments. Neev Motorcycles has also given the Divine a custom swing arm and mudguards and the same 5-inch by 16-inch tyres as seen on Rajputana Custom Motorcycle’s Gaur.
3. ‘Dilli’ by Old Delhi Motorcycles
‘Dilli’ by Old Delhi Motorcycles is said to be inspired by the spirit and vibe of our national capital. Painted in a custom yellow and off-white colour scheme, Dilli features a single seat, a girder-style front suspension and a sidecar that’s finshed in the same colours. And, rather fittingly, Royal Enfield displayed this custom build in the city of Delhi.
4. The custom-built Classic 350 by MS Customs
Mizoram-based MS Customs showed off its custom-built Classic 350 in Bengaluru. Designed around the theme of being an ‘Urban Roadster’, the motorcycle has been given a custom tank, swingarm and tyres and it features a ‘60s inspired headlight dome. The bike is finshed predominantely in black and white, with orange, blue and red stripes. MS Customs also fitted the bike with a handcrafted, brown leather seat.
