The growth in connected vehicle services is creating vast amounts of data, which can be used by automakers to provide personalised services and, theoretically, improve the customer experience. However, there are growing concerns around data ownership, use and privacy. If these are not addressed soon, they could prove an insurmountable obstacle to further connected car developments.
