Citroen C3: What to expect from each variant

Citroen is launching the C3 – their first mass-market product in the Indian market – on July 20. The carmaker calls it a “hatchback with a twist”, and it will be positioned between high-riding hatchbacks like the Tata Punch and Maruti Suzuki Ignis and lower-end compact SUVs like the Renault Kiger and the Nissan Magnite.  

Citroen is hinting at an aggressive price tag for their newest model. At launch, the car will be available in two trims – Live and Feel. Its engine options include a 82hp, 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated (NA) petrol unit and a 110hp, 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol. 

Here is a look at what you can expect from the two variants. 

Citroen C3 Live 

  • Body-coloured front and rear bumpers 
  • Manual air conditioning with heater 
  • Front power windows with one-touch down for driver 
  • Digital instrument cluster 
  • Dual airbags 

Citroen C3 Feel

  • Wheel arch cladding 
  • Roof rails 
  • Dual-tone roof (optional on 1.2 NA engine) 
  • Chrome accents on the inside 
  • 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment 
  • Connected car tech 
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • Four speakers 
  • Steering-mounted controls 
  • Remote keyless entry 
  • Tilt steering 
  • Door ajar warning 
  • Speed-sensitive auto-door lock 

The 1.2-litre NA engine can be had with Live and Feel variants, while the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol is available only with Feel. Additionally, buyers can opt for four single-tone body colours, and six dual-tone options, depending on the variant. Citroen is also offering three customisation packs – Zesty Orange, Platinum Grey and Chrome – and two interior trims, namely Anodized Orange and Anodized Grey, on the C3.
