BMW has increased the prices of the G 310 R and G 310 GS in India

BMW Motorrad has hiked the prices of the G 310 R and G 310 GS by Rs, 10,000.

  • Second price hike this year

  • No mechanical or cosmetic upgrades

  • Still significantly cheaper than the BS4 G 310s

Following the price hike, the BMW G 310 R is now priced at Rs 2.60 lakh, while the G 310 GS will set you back by Rs 3 lakh. BMW Motorrad India has not divulged the reasons behind the price hike. This is the second time this year that the BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS have received a bump in price, the last time being in  January 2021. This without there being any mechanical or cosmetic changes to the G 310 R and G 310 GS.

Nevertheless, despite this recent price hike, these motorcycles cost significantly less than their BS4 versions. To reiterate, BMW had reduced the prices of the G 310 R and G 310 GS by a massive Rs 55,000 and Rs 64,000, at the time of launching their BS6 avatars in October 2020. While the prices fell significantly, the bikes received upgrades in the form of all-LED lights and new colours. The 313cc, single-cylinder engine’s power and torque figures, for both motorcycles, remain unchanged, at 34hp and 28Nm.

Following the price drop and the BMW brand cachet, there’s a notable uptick in the sales of the G 310s. However, will this price hike have an impact on the numbers? Let us know what you think in the comments section.
