Steven Eagell Group, the AM100’s largest Toyota and Lexus dealer, has started a ‘Community Programme’ that will help to foster a culture of ‘giving back’ in its network of dealerships as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy.
Aimed at supporting local initiatives, charities, and not-for-profit organizations in the areas surrounding its dealerships. the program allows employees to nominate projects significant to them and their communities, with each dealership being allocated a budget.
With a history of supporting various causes, including sponsoring events, participating in fundraising activities, and contributing to local food banks, Steven Eagell Group aims to extend its support to even more projects through this program. Past beneficiaries of the group’s donations and sponsorship include charities like Langdon, SERV and Magpas Air Ambulance, as well as sporting organizations such as Rickmansworth Cricket Club and grassroots football clubs.
The company has donated vehicles to organisations like Ipswich Town FC Foundation and Watford FC Community Sports & Education Trust, facilitating transportation for volunteers, young people, and equipment to events across their communities.
“We’re extremely excited to be launching our brand-new Community Programme. Our business has expanded rapidly in recent years and we see the introduction of this programme as a brilliant way for us to strengthen connections with the communities in which we operate, giving back to the individuals, causes and charities that work tirelessly to improve lives,” said chief executive Steven Eagell.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing our colleagues with us on this journey, giving them the ability to nominate projects that matter most to them, their families, friends and local communities.”
The new Community Programme begins this month and aligns with the company’s broader commitment to CSR.
The launch of the Community Programme signifies Steven Eagell Group’s ongoing dedication to making a positive impact in the communities it serves, demonstrating its commitment to corporate citizenship and social engagement.
