Hero Vida V1 Plus price, range, features

V1 Plus is Rs 28,400 more affordable than the V1 Pro but has a smaller battery and consequently, less range.

Hero initially launched two electric scooters under its Vida sub-brand – the V1 Plus and the V1 Pro, however in just a few months, the company discontinued the V1 Plus. Now, Hero has reintroduced the more affordable V1 Plus at Rs 97,800 in Delhi.

Hero Vida V1 Plus range, performance

The Vida V1 Plus features a 3.44 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, offering a top speed of 80 kmph and a real-world range of 100 km. It can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in a claimed 3.4s and has three riding modes – Eco, Ride, and Sport. Both the V1 Plus and V1 Pro share a single motor with a continuous power output of 3.9 kW, peak power of 6 kW and a maximum torque output of 25 Nm. Two removable batteries of 1.72 kWh each are offered, which can be charged remotely from 0-80 percent in 5 hours and 15 minutes.

In terms of features, the Vida V1 Plus shares its features with the V1 Pro, including the 7-inch TFT dash with auto dark and light mode and gets connected features through the application like turn-by-turn navigation and vehicle diagnostics tracker. It also gets all-LED lighting, cruise control, keyless entry, electronic seat and handle lock. 

At its more affordable price tag, the Vida V1 Plus (Rs 97,800) rivals the Ola S1 Air (Rs 1.05 lakh), the Ather 450S (Rs 97,547)  and the Bajaj Chetak Urbane (Rs 1.15 lakh).
