The Nissan division of Eastern Western Motor Group has implemented a management restructure, including the appointment of new general managers and service managers.
Former service manager James McFarlane has become general manager at Western Stirling, allowing Neil Johnson, who was GM of both the Stirling dealership and the Straiton dealership, to focus solely on Straiton where business levels are rising significantly.
David Aitken, formerly sales manager at Straiton, is now general manager of Western Edinburgh (Newbridge), and Drew Guthrie remains GM of both the Barnetts Dundee and Western Fife Nissan dealerships.
EWMG’s Nissan franchise director Andrew Oag, who replaced John La Trobe last yeat when Le Trobe joined the board of directors. thanked his ‘fantastic’ Nissan dealer colleagues for their support during the first year in his new role.
He said: ‘‘Please join me in wishing our four general managers the very best of luck for the future, and congratulating James and David on their well-deserved promotions within the company. I know you will all embrace these senior management changes which are being made to improve our businesses, build resilience and strengthen our performance during 2024 and beyond.’’
At Fife, senior service advisor Rebecca McCleave has been promoted to service manager and Brent Fraser has been appointed sales manager.
At Newbridge, Paul Lovett has become used car sales manager alongside Cezar Skrzypinski who is managing new car sales. And Angus Gillon, sales controller at Newbridge, has become van centre sales controller for the entire division.
