The reason why both these models are listed with such heavy discounts is because they both are soon due a mid-lifecycle update. Mahindra has been testing the XUV300 facelift with comprehensive exterior and interior makeover for a while now, and its launch is due in the next few months. A similar cosmetic update for the all-electric XUV400 should be in the pipeline too. It’s quite normal of carmakers to roll out such benefits on the outgoing model in order to clear stocks, especially at this time of the year.
