Livingstone Motor Group is branching out just two years after its boss Andrew Iveson held a management buyout and set out a plan to grow the business.

The AM Award winning leader announced this week he has completed on an acquisition of the former Broach Hill Garage dealership near Driffield, some 22 miles north of Livingstone’s base in Hull, where it holds Subaru, Isuzu and SsangYong new car sales franchises.

Broach Hill Garage on the A164 closed last year, with 30 redundancies, after the business went into administration. It had held MG Motor and SsangYong franchises at that point, and had been in business for 50 years.

Revealing the acquisition, Iveson said he was “delighted, excited, thrilled and equally full of pride for the Livingstone team”.
