Harley Davidson X440 top model has secured 65 percent of total bookings, according to the brand.
Harley Davidson’s Indian partner, Hero MotoCorp has announced that the recently launched Harley Davidson X400 has secured 25,597 bookings so far. Harley Davidson India dealers started accepting bookings for the X400 officially since July 4, 2023.

Harley Davidson X400 booking and delivery details
Test rides of the Harley X440 will begin on September 1, and Hero says it will start delivering bikes to customers in October. Currently, the booking amount for the X440 stands at Rs 5,000. Hero MotoCorp will start production of the Harley-Davidson X440 in September at its Garden Factory at Neemrana, Rajasthan, and commence customer deliveries from October 2023. Deliveries to customers will be made on a prioritised basis as per booking dates.

The introductory ex-showroom prices have now been revised upwards and the new prices for the Denim, Vivid and S variants will be Rs 2,39,500/-, Rs 2,59,500/- and Rs 2,79,500/- respectively, the official statement added.
Harley Davidson X440 powertrain
The Harley Davidson X440 is powered by an air-/oil-cooled, 440cc, single-cylinder engine that’s rated for 27hp at 6,000rpm and 38Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. Mated to this large thumper is a 6-speed gearbox.
