After a long wait, MotoGP Bharat tickets are now finally on sale. Tickets can be purchased from BookMyShow and they will range from Rs 800 to 40,000 for roughly 1,00,000 seats at the Buddh International Circuit.
While the most affordable seats will be available for less than Rs 10,000, the main grandstand tickets will range from Rs 20,000-30,000. The ‘Platinum Corporate Box’ seats will retail for Rs 40,000. More details in terms of seat pricing for different stands across the track are listed on BookMyShow.
News first broke of MotoGP coming to India in September 2022 when a seven year memorandum of understanding was signed between MotoGP organiser Dorna Sports and Noida based Fairstreet Sports.
Speaking on the announcement, Chief Sporting Officer of Dorna Sports, Carlos Ezpeleta said, “We are incredibly happy that ticket sales for the Grand Prix of India are opening. I want to thank Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath for his support to this project. India is the biggest motorcycle market in the world and brings a huge potential for the growth of our sport. Having an Indian Grand Prix can only accelerate this and we are committed to giving the fans an incredible experience. Thank you to all Indian MotoGP™ fans!”
Work is currently underway at the Buddh International Circuit to bring it up to spec for the requirements of MotoGP homologation in terms of the track surface and run-off areas.
