Aiways U5 on charge

The subscription vehicle broker finn.auto is to buy Aiways U5 electric SUVs and cites growing trend towards electric mobility for vehicle subscriptions.

Aiways will supply finn.auto with at least 500 Aiways U5 all-electric SUVs beginning with 150 cars in the next three months.

The Munich-based car subscription service provider is expanding its range of eco-friendly electric cars and is now offering the Aiways U5 on a flexible subscription. The Aiways U5, which has only been available in Germany recently, can be subscribed to on finn.auto at a monthly all-inclusive price.

The Aiways U5 has been designed and developed to offer subscribers accessible zero emissions motoring, including long range.

The founder of finn.auto Max-Josef Meier sees the cooperation with Aiways as an important development step in the direction of electromobility: “We are pleased to be able to offer our customers another attractive and powerful electric vehicle with innovative battery technology with the Aiways U5. Our mission is not just to make mobility as easy and uncomplicated as buying shoes on the Internet. We are also promoting the uptake of electric cars. As an attractive entry point into electromobility, the car subscription acts as a market driver.”

Dr. Alexander Klose, Executive Vice President of Overseas Operations at Aiways, commented: “Striving for intelligent technical solutions, in sales and customer approach, is part of the core brand of Aiways, because cars are no longer just a means of transport. Rather, with the entry into the age of electromobility, they expand the domestic living space. Our all-electric Aiways U5 is intended to serve customers as an extended, mobile living space.

“The car subscription from finn.auto offers a new brand such as Aiways a flexible entry into the market to get customers excited about our new models. With finn.auto we want to open further customer groups and inspire more customers for our current and future products,” Klose added.

The Aiways U6 is entering European markets in early 2022and Aiways says it also follows Aiways goal of making electromobility accessible to everyone.
