TVS Racing has opened registrations for all aspiring women racers looking to compete in the 2021 edition of the TVS Women’s One Make Championship. Two selection rounds will be held in Bengaluru (January 23) and Mumbai (January 30), followed by final selection round at Chennai’s Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) in April 2021.
- 16 riders will be selected from each round in Bengaluru and Mumbai

2021 TVS Women’s One Make Championship selection rounds
Two initial selection rounds will take place at the Meco Kartopia in Hennur, Bengaluru, on January 23 and Ajmera IndiKarting in Wadala, Mumbai, on January 30.These sessions will have an entry fee of Rs 1,500 and all those participating will need to carry their driving license. A full face helmet with visor and a Double D ring strap with DOT and ECE certification will also be mandatory. Additionally, a limited number of racing suits will be available on site too.
These sessions will include a full-day training school, with notable TVS Racing riders and national champions KY Ahamed, Jagan Kumar, Aishwarya Pissay and Harry Sylvester as mentors. Based on their best lap timings, physical fitness, and racing abilities, 16 riders will be selected from each city.
The shortlisted riders will then have to compete in the final selection round at the MMRT in Chennai in April 2021, following which the final grid of 16 riders will be selected. Those interested in participating and register here.
2021 TVS Women’s One Make Championship
The 2021 TVS Women’s One Make Championship will see competitors battle it out astride the race-tuned TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. A total of five rounds will be held alongside the 2021 Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC).
Post the final selection round in Chennai, the finalists will also undergo specific training under the mentorship of TVS Racing’s notable racers to improve their physical fitness and hone their racing skills before the championship kicks off.
