Moto Guzzi has revealed the updated V85 TT, and it sports some minor, yet significant, updates for 2021. These include the transition to comply with mandatory emission norms and updates to the electronics.

The Italian manufacturer has said the engine will now produce more low and mid-range torque thanks to “optimized lifting of the pushrod and rockers timing cams and a consequent adapting of the engine control electronics.” However, no specific torque numbers were disclosed. Previously, the 853cc, air-cooled, transverse V-twin produced 80hp and 81.3Nm of torque.

The new V85TT carries forward most of its hardware from last year’s model, but Moto Guzzi has changed the wheels and tyres on the motorcycle. Also, the bike now gets two new riding modes – Sport and Custom – for a total of five settings.
2021 Moto Guzzi V85TT launch
The V85TT was on sale in India, albeit, for a brief period, following its launch at the Auto Expo 2020. Moto Guzzi retailed its motorcycles in India via Piaggio’s Motoplex dealerships, and this updated model may make its way here too, later in the year. Considering the updates on the motorcycle are minimal, a price tag is also expected to be slightly above the Rs 12.64 lakh that it was launched at in January 2020.
